Selling Terms
1. Agreement to Terms
By consigning items with Little Split P, you ("the Consignor") agree to the following terms.
2. Item Acceptance & Processing
Little Split P lovingly curates what goes on our shelves. Consignment drop-offs are limited to 1 bag per visit.
Little Split P determines which items to accept for sale. All items must be clean, fully working, and in lovely preloved condition.
We're unable to accept anything with stains, holes, damage, or missing pieces. We want every item on our shelves to be something we'd be happy to buy ourselves.
Unaccepted items must be collected within 7 days of notification or they will be assumed donated.
3. Ownership
The Consignor confirms they own or have the legal right to sell all items provided.
4. Sales, Pricing & Commission
Little Split P sets all sale prices at its discretion.
Commission rates are calculated using the GST inclusive in-store ticket price:
Little Split P receives 50% and the Consignor receives 50% of the final sale price for all standard drop-offs (single bag or large items by prior arrangement).
Large drop-offs made without prior agreement will incur a reduced consignment rate - Little Split P receives 55% and the Consignor receives 45% of the final sale price, reflecting the additional storage & processing time required.
5. Payment & Expiry
By consigning items with Little Split P, you ("the Consignor") agree to the following terms. Little Split P reserves the right to amend these terms at any time.
6. Unsold Items & Withdrawals
Consignors may withdraw their items before expiry by finding them on the shop floor themselves and having them deleted from the store system
Items not sold by the end of the consignment period will either be collected by the Consignor within 7 days of notification or they will become the property of Little Split P and may be donated or sold at Little Split P's discretion. The Consignor will select whether they would like to pick up or donate their unsold items at the time of drop off.
7. Liability
While we take excellent care of everything left with us, Little Split P is unable to take responsibility for loss, theft, or accidental damage to consigned items.
8. Consignment Close Down Periods
Little Split P reserves the right to close consignment drop-offs, update our accepted item guidelines, or amend any aspect of our consignment policies at any time and without prior notice. We recommend checking our current guidelines before each drop-off to make sure your items are a great fit.
9. Brands & Quality
Little Split P mainly stocks higher-quality and well-known children's brands.
We're unable to accept items from Kmart, Anko, The Warehouse, Postie, Teeny Weeny, Pumpkin Patch, or similar budget retailers. If you're unsure whether your brands are a good fit, feel free to get in touch before your drop-off.
10. Toys & Equipment
Toys and equipment that require batteries or charging cables must have working batteries or charger included. Items without these will not be accepted.
Items must have all required parts (puzzles have all pieces, cots have all screws etc.)
11. Items We're Typically Unable to Accept
To keep our customers safe and our shop running smoothly, we're unable to accept the following:

Car seats with less than 2 years remaining before expiry

Breast pumps not in their original packaging

Pedal bikes (balance bikes are welcome!)

Inflatable items
-
Certain electrical items (including lamps, AngelCare mats, and similar)

Wall art

12. Amendments
Little Split P may amend these terms at any time.
